History
Tri City Readymix has been serving the Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph and Cambridge area since 1986. Founded by Harold Esbaugh, Tri City was built on his experience of over 45 years in the construction and readymix business. It began with a simple philosophy – to produce high quality concrete and deliver it quick and efficiently to its customers. Expanding quietly over the years, Tri City Readymix is now operating at two locations, supplying concrete in commercial, residential and agricultural markets. In December 2017, Tri City joined forces with Miller Paving Limited. Miller purchased all properties and equipment of Tri City Readymix and Tri City Materials. 
Tri City is now better positioned to compete in the construction and material supply industry in the Kitchener Waterloo marketplaces. We are now able to pursue a wider array of opportunities as projects become more complex and demanding.
After more then 25 years with the organization, Ron Esbaugh retired in May of 2021. Rick Esbaugh remains with the Tri City Materials business in an Advisory role. We thank Rick and Ron for the countless valuable contributions and leadership the two provided over the years. With the TCR Team, Ron Esbaugh leaves behind a legacy that strives to maintain the same level of success he achieved.

Along with its superior concrete, Tri City Readymix extends the high standard of quality to the appearance and upkeep of its plants and equipment. Eric Bender, Business Manager
Eric joined Tri City Readymix in August of 2019 with over 10 years of working experience in different Aggregate, Ready Mix, and Cement positions. Eric is involved in all aspects of the business and brings a strong customer focus. In addition to working with Tri City Readymix, Eric will also be involved in supporting the Perth Lavis Ready Mix Group.

Rick Pearce, Operations Manager
Rick has been with Tri City Readymix since 1997. He has 30 years of experience in construction related sales and credit management. This makes him a valuable asset to the Tri City Team. Rick is responsible for credit management, overseeing all equipment use and supervision of all drivers.

Tim Tjonasan, Sales Manager
Tim joined Tri City Ready Mix in the fall of 2022, brining 15 years of sales experience in the Ready Mix industry. Along with his background in Concrete, Tim also has experience in Aggregates and Quality Control. Tim cares deeply about customer satisfaction, and long-term relationships. Ron Shantz, Quality Control Manager
Ron Shantz heads up Quality Control for Tri City Readymix and has been a great asset to our team.

Rob Blackwell, Shop Manager
Rob has been an important part of the Tri City Team. Rob's extensive background in the transportation industry has made the Tri City fleet one of the safest in the area. Rob is responsible for all trucks, loaders and plant maintenance.

Paul Miller, Dispatcher/Batcher
Paul has been with Tri City Readymix since April 2006. He is currently the batcher/dispatcher at our Kitchener plant.

Greg Goods, Dispatch / Batcher
Greg Goods has been part of the Tri City Ready mix team since June of 2013. Greg spent his first 7 years with TCR as a Driver, and has since made the transition to Dispatch / Batching, at both our Heidelberg and Kitchener Plants.

Hudson Fleming, Technical Sales Rep
Hudson joined our Organization in January of 2023. Hudson will be working with our Customers on quality control / testing, specifications review, mix design submissions, and more. Hudson will be covering our Ontario – West Region, which includes Lavis Perth Ready Mix (Stratford and Benmiller Plants), and Miller Concrete Halton Plant. Hudson has a deep interest in Concrete and the construction industry in general, and looks forward to meeting our Customers.
